Similar to SF, I don’t know what to say to this. Except for the fact that I really do hate this man. Like, near-Donovan levels of hate. I understand he comes from a rough place and all, but we already have enough R. Kellys in the world (1).

The Season Begins

I already made my write-up of the first practice here, so no point in re-hashing that. However, here are some pictures to go along with my beautiful prose. I plan on heading to practice a least a couple more times before the Central Coast Showcase in San Luis Obispo. Hopefully by then they will have gone to some different drills, and not just fitness + small sided games.

Introducing…

There comes a time when change is necessary. That time is now.

The 1906 Ultras are one of the fastest growing supporter groups in MLS, so it seemed only fair that they have a proper blog to go along with their rise to the top. Along with news, events, merchandise, propaganda, and other daily happenings amongst the Ultras, I’ll also give my take on the latest trials and tribulations of the Quakes, MLS, supporters groups around the world, and, well, anything else I want.

A little background on me - I’m a college student at Cal State East Bay via Portland State. I’m one of the founding members of the original San Jose Ultras in 2003, spending my time in the Casbah before that. I’ve been going to games since 1996, and still have the disgusting, giant red t-shirt that was given away at the Inaugural Game. I spend most of my offseason on Facebook, BigSoccer, and the 1906 Ultras forums.

Apart from that, I’m sure you’ll get to know and love me more and more as time goes on.
